These terms apply to your use of maintownrealty.com (the "website"). By signing up or using the website you agree to them. Detailed role-specific agreements for tenants, landlords and agents are presented and accepted inside the MainTown app.

1. What MainTown does

MainTown Realty connects tenants, buyers, landlords and agents for rentals, shortlets and property sales in Nigeria. During this web phase, property inspections, booking confirmations and payment verifications are handled manually by our WhatsApp team. Automated scheduling, AI underwriting and in-app wallets arrive with the MainTown mobile app.

2. Your account

You must be 18 or older and give accurate information.
You choose a role (tenant, landlord or agent) when you sign up. You can confirm or correct it when you onboard in the app.
You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your login secure. If you sign in with Google, protect your Google account.
Signing up on the website joins you to our waiting list for the app. It does not on its own create a tenancy, sale, booking or any other agreement.

3. Using the website

Do not post false listings, impersonate others, attempt fraud, or try to bypass MainTown's payment process.
Do not interfere with the website or try to access accounts that are not yours.
We may suspend or remove accounts that break these rules.

4. Listings and information

Listings are provided by landlords and agents. We work to verify them, but prices, availability and details can change, and we do not guarantee that any listing is complete or error-free. Always complete an inspection before paying.

5. Payments

Payments are only valid when confirmed through MainTown's official channels. Never send money to an individual who contacts you outside them. Fees, commissions and refund rules are explained before you pay and in the agreements you accept in the app.

6. Communication

By signing up you agree that we may contact you on WhatsApp and by email about your request and your account.

7. Liability

The website is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, MainTown is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the website, or for the acts of landlords, agents or other users. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information.

9. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms, and the date above shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
